Swim Lessons At AquaTech

Start Anytime. Build Skills All Year.

AquaTech’s year-round swim lessons make it easy for families to begin when they are ready—no need to wait for a new session. Swimmers can keep a reserved weekly lesson time and continue building water safety, confidence, and stronger swim skills through consistent instruction and steady progress.

We also make enrollment and participation more flexible with Makeup Tokens for eligible reported absences, predictable four-week billing, advance billing reminders, and available family discounts and promotions.

Follow the steps below to get started and explore the lesson options available for your swimmer. We can’t wait to welcome your family to the pool!

Step 1: Start with the Level Quiz

Which Swim Lesson Level Is Right for Your Child?

AquaTech classes are organized by swimming ability, not age. Our Level Quiz will help identify the best starting point based on your swimmer’s current comfort, experience, and skills in the water.

The quiz is a placement guide. Final placement may vary based on instructor observation, swimmer comfort, class availability, and AquaTech’s ability-based level criteria.

Explore Beginner Levels

Beginner Levels

Our beginner program starts at 6 months old with parent-participation classes designed to build comfort, trust, and early water confidence. At age 3, children can transition into independent lessons without a parent in the water. These independent levels teach the essential foundations of swimming—safe submersion, floating, body position, breathing, and kicking—that every future swim skill is built upon.

Explore Intermediate Levels

Intermediate Levels

Our intermediate levels strengthen breath control, body position, and coordination as swimmers begin learning formal stroke technique. Swimmers are introduced to freestyle and backstroke—the long-axis strokes—which use similar body rotation, alignment, and rhythmic movement patterns to build efficient, confident swimming.

Explore Advanced Levels

Advanced Levels

Our advanced levels build on the foundations developed in the beginner and intermediate levels. Swimmers are introduced to the short-axis strokes—breaststroke and butterfly—while continuing to refine freestyle and backstroke technique. The goal is to prepare swimmers for a lifetime of safe, efficient swimming, whether for recreation, survival skills, fitness, or advancement into competitive programs.

Step 2: Create Your Customer Portal Account

Set Up Your Family Account Before Registering

The AquaTech Customer Portal is where you will manage registrations, drop-in passes,  recreational swim reservations, payments, reported absences, makeup tokens, and account updates.

Create one family account for your household, then add each person who may participate in an AquaTech program as an individual student. This includes children or adults who may take lessons, attend recreational swim, use a makeup token, or reserve a class with a drop-in pass.

For example, if two children will take lessons and a parent may participate in recreational swim from time to time, all three should be added as separate students under the same family account.

Completing your family account before registering is required and ensures our team can assist you along the way with registration and reservation options.

Step 3: Choose the Right Lesson Option

Group Lessons or Private Lessons?

AquaTech offers both group and private swim lessons so families can choose the learning environment that best supports their swimmer’s comfort, safety, confidence, and progress.

Group Lessons: Group lessons are a great fit for swimmers who are ready to learn in a structured class with other children. Swimmers follow the AquaTech curriculum, take turns, practice alongside peers, and build confidence in a social learning environment. Group lessons may be the right fit if your swimmer can participate safely with multiple swimmers in the class, follow instructor directions, wait their turn, and progress within the group lesson structure.

Private Lessons: Private lessons provide one-on-one instruction for swimmers who would benefit from a more individualized learning experience. With one swimmer and one instructor, lessons can move at the swimmer’s pace and focus on their specific comfort level, goals, and skill needs. Private lessons may be the right fit if your swimmer needs extra support, individualized pacing, reduced group distractions, confidence-building, or focused work on specific skills.

Ongoing Lessons or a Single Drop-In?

Ongoing Weekly Lessons: Ongoing enrollment reserves the same class day and time for your swimmer each week, creating the consistency needed to build confidence and make steady progress. AquaTech uses a continuous enrollment model, so lessons continue from one four-week billing cycle to the next until a Withdrawal Form is submitted. Ongoing enrollment is the best choice for families who want reliable weekly instruction, a reserved class spot and long-term skill development.

Single-Lesson Drop-Ins: Single-lesson Drop-In Passes offer a flexible way to attend one available class without creating an ongoing enrollment or recurring billing. Each pass is assigned to one swimmer and can be redeemed for a specific lesson that matches the swimmer’s level and current availability.

Step 4: Review Pricing, Discounts & Promotions

Ongoing lessons are billed every four weeks. Customers who begin in the middle of a billing cycle will have their first billing period prorated. A $3.50 facility fee is charged per student during each four-week billing cycle for ongoing enrollments. Drop-In Passes are purchased separately and do not create recurring billing.
