Who We Are

AquaTech Swim is a family-focused swim school serving Alameda, Concord, and the surrounding East Bay. We help babies, children, and early teens become safer, stronger, and more confident swimmers through clear, consistent instruction in warm indoor pools.


Our instructors meet swimmers where they are and help them progress one skill at a time—from first water experiences and essential safety skills to stronger strokes and greater independence.

How We Teach

Swimmers learn best when skills are broken into clear, achievable steps. Our teaching approach helps children build comfort, safety, and technique through repetition, encouragement, and steady progression.


Instead of rushing swimmers through levels, our instructors focus on skill mastery. Each swimmer is guided at a pace that supports confidence while still encouraging growth. The result is a more capable swimmer who understands what to do in the water and feels proud of their progress.

Our Facilities

At AquaTech, we prioritize the health and safety of our guests and staff by utilizing state-of-the-art air and surface disinfection systems.


Negative Pressure "Inflow" Systems: AquaTech employs air systems similar to those used in hospitals for Infectious Patient Isolation. This inflow isolation technique ensures that clean air flows into any breached containment area, preventing contaminated air from escaping. This method, in compliance with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Guidelines, has been a trusted solution for decades in controlling hazardous indoor air contaminants.


Ultraviolet (UV) Lamp Air Scrubber Solution: To further enhance air quality, we’ve added 11 UV lamps to our air duct systems. These lamps effectively remove or destroy up to 99% of airborne and surface contaminants, providing an extra layer of protection against pollutants and dangerous contaminants.

At AquaTech, we take water quality seriously. Our state-of-the-art systems ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable swimming experience for everyone.


Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection Systems: The Gold Standard in Virus Elimination: Our Quad Reactor Neptune Benson UV System uses powerful UV light, known as one of the most effective ways to combat viruses. This cutting-edge system blasts our pool water 8–10 times daily, destroying 99.9% of all viruses and bacteria on contact using the natural disinfecting power of sunlight.


Water Chemistry Management: Expertly Balanced Pools: We meticulously maintain our pool chemistry with the use of chlorine, muriatic acid, and other proven methods. Our team of Certified Pool Operators continuously monitors and adjusts the water to ensure optimal safety and comfort.


Pool Filtration Systems: Crystal Clear Water: Our pools are equipped with highly efficient filtration systems that remove oils, chemical by-products, skin, hair, and other impurities. These systems are professionally maintained three or more times per week to keep the water sparkling clean.


Reverse Osmosis (RO) Filtration: Water Purity at Its Best: Our Reverse Osmosis (RO) Filtration System, equipped with triple carbon filters, continuously transforms our pool water into a quality that’s nearly drinkable. This advanced system operates 24/7, ensuring the water is filtered and refreshed around the clock.
